Request Control of Someone's Shared Content

 

When someone shares his/her desktop with you, you can request temporary control of the shared content. Note that the desktop owner will also retain control; either of you may move the mouse cursor, type edits, etc.

Requesting Control

To request control of someone's shared desktop:

 
  1. On the in-call toolbar at the top of the screen, click or tap the Show button.
     
  2. Click or tap the Request to control shared content button.
     

Giving Back Control

To return control of someone's shared desktop:

 
  1. On the in-call toolbar at the top of the screen, click or tap the Show button.
     
  2. Click or tap the Retire request to control shared content button.
