Pause or Resume Desktop Sharing

 

Sometimes, while sharing your desktop content, you may wish to pause sharing for a brief moment so that other meeting participants cannot see what you are doing, such as reading an email. For cases such as this, you can pause and resume sharing your content as needed.

Pausing Desktop Sharing

To temporarily pause sharing your desktop content:

 
  1. On the in-call toolbar at the top of the screen, click or tap the Show button.
     
  2. Click or tap the Share button.
     
  3. Since you are in Desktop Sharing mode, the Sharing sub-menu changes accordingly. Click or tap the Pause sharing button; this will freeze the desktop image on the other participants' screens.
     

Resuming Desktop Sharing

To continue sharing your content:

 
  1. On the in-call toolbar at the top of the screen, click or tap the Show button.
     
  2. Click or tap the Share button.
     
  3. Click or tap the Resume sharing button.
