Littmann® Electronic Stethoscope
SwyMed has developed a patent-pending audio channel switching system to allow the transmission of uncompressed, pure audio from a remote Littmann® electronic stethoscope.
Your swyMed installation may or may not include the add-on that is needed to use the Littmann stethoscope; direct any questions to your System Administrator or swyMed Support.

Instructions for Use
At any time during a video call, you may choose from several listening options:
- Listen directly to the auscultation through the stethoscope
- Activate the built-in speakers on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
- Use a speaker connected to the audio jack of your device, such as headphones or desktop speakers
Your device will default to either the built-in speakers or a plugged-in external listening device. To hear the audio data from the Littmann stethoscope, first set up the stethoscope as a listening device.
For more information on selecting a different listening source, refer to Switching to a Different Speaker during a Call.

Keep in Mind...
Due to differences in individual sound cards, speakers, headphones, etc., the audio quality of auscultations transmitted from the remote site is best heard using quality headphones which fully envelop the ear at the local (listening) site.
